  5. The WorkMate Private Videotext System operates on any UNIX- or XENIX-based
  6. computer. It is possible to dial into the system using any PRESTEL standard
  7. terminal. (Interfaces for CEPT, VT100/VT220 and teletype terminals will be
  8. available soon.) It interfaces easily with existing systems, to extract data
  9. from or add to the files within existing databases. The existing database may
  10. be held on the UNIX or XENIX computer as well as an existing mainframe
  11. computer. The WorkMate PVS system is supplied with all the code necessary to
  12. operate a host videotex system together with a powerful page editor to allow
  13. your own pages to be designed. Full password security is provided, as well as
  14. the option for closed user groups (CUGs), customer accounting and other system
  15. administration. A sample "user hook" program can be supplied to show how data
  16. can be manipulated and accessed from your own databases.
